The crows are actually growing
fatter. We all began to wonder if they would
become too large to fly. There must be a
weight restriction for birds, although I haven’t a clue as to what it is. Of course, eagles are rather large birds, as are condors, but their wingspan makes up for their excessive consumption of doughnuts
and sweets.
Any speculation of birds in the
future must surely include separate walkways, perhaps sidewalk adjacent. Not unlike the bicycle paths of today,
co-mingling with the automobile. One
walkway for people and one for the fat birds.
Getting the birds, however, to comprehend any signage at intersections
could be problematic.
I envision anyone having sharp,
pointy beaks and grabby claws to have the right-of-way. Laws governing birdbrains, lawyers and politicians
should appear in all languages, and be posted even at higher elevations, for
those who still retain flight capability.
