Episode 4

 

OAK VALLEY
 

          In our last exciting episode, the townspeople noticed smoke coming from Oak Valley General Hospital just down Main Street one block from the traffic circle.

 

Mayor Peace:  “Sparky – run down to the fire station and alert Gus, then sound the fire alarm and get the fire truck warmed up – and hurry!!!”

 

Sparky:  “BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, Bark, Bark, Bark, bark, bark, bar…”

 

Warren Peace:  “And Wanda, you’d better run down to your dress shop – this story could use some new material.”

 

Philip DeRooms, Hospital Administrator:  “OK, folks, lets go get my safe and those patients out of the hospital.”

 

“Good idea Philip but what should we do with the patients?”  Asked Nancy

 

Alex:  “Hey, we could take them to the Sears Home and Garden Center – it’s got plenty of beds in the furniture department and lots of dollies we can use as gurneys.”

 

Meanwhile, across town a shadowy figure lurks behind Hemming-Way’s Dress Shop.

 

 

          Well, is Wanda headed for trouble?  And what about Sparky?  He can fetch a stick but can he drive one?
