Spaghetti Western

I traveled back in time today and watched an old movie.  For a few Dollars More with Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef.  I must admit that back in its day, it was probably a good movie, however, in 2026, standing here knee-deep in technology and knowing all the things that have transpired in the world of moviemaking, there seemed an abundance of stares and a noticeable absence of dialog.

Okay, I’ll just come out and say it.  “It was tedious.”  Not only was it a disappointment, but I could see no spaghetti.  No one was gathered at the table; there was not so much as a drop of wine and no garlic bread.  How they got away with calling this a spaghetti western I’ll never know.

I expect it is for reasons such as this that Einstein put the kibosh on time travel.  Not so much that it couldn’t be done, but that it shouldn’t.   People of today should not be subjected to yesterday’s entertainment.  It is non-transferable.   If you follow the announcement at the onset of the movie and turn your cell phones off – trust me, you’ll be asleep in minutes.
