With your wrenches, loosen and remove the gibberish and with
your blade scrape off the glitter. Pry
up the adjectives and peel back the claims.
Strip off the shine and flush out that new car smell.
What you’ve purchased is an expensive box on wheels. Side by side it is the same as your
neighbors, and similar to every other box on the road. It has no imagination, no pizzazz and is
designed to fail. Parts will break,
metal will rust, and the same salesman will smile at you and try to sell you next
year’s box.
Unless you return to the 1960’s you’ll not find anything
worth its weight. Style and
individuality in the auto industry has become extinct. Due to the safety requirements and computer gadgets,
a box is the only thing that will hold it.
As always, opposing views are welcome.

And - they all pretty much look the same. One car company comes up with a design and the rest follow like lemming. No wonder we all try to get into the wrong car in the parking lots! Viva La 1960's!
