It's been here the entire time

 

Nobody needs a psychic to communicate with the spirit world.  Those who have passed on have been speaking to us all the time, it’s just the static in the transmission that hinders our understanding.  Consider them to be in another room.  Like in a house or building, there are walls between the rooms making normal conversation impossible.  The absence of life is simply another wall dividing us.  Knowing how to decipher the words from the static is the key.

Every time you go to sleep, your internal chatter shuts down, and dreams take over.  Those dreams are the messages from the other side of the wall.  Much of it is just noise, general stuff like, “How was your day?”  “Catch any fish yesterday?”  But some of it has more substance and it is those conversations you retain.  You wake up remembering bits and pieces, and you try to make sense out of it.

It isn’t some big mystery, it’s been here the entire time.  We simply need to get better at sorting through the static and weeding out the big fish stories.
