With the speed of light, the vase
of flowers travels through the air, in through my lens and smacks against the
film. I have captured a picture. I have taken an object from life and for that
item, I have stopped time. As it was, it
shall forever be.
Dare I do this with us? A selfie, where we can live throughout
eternity? Happy and smiling
forever? Absent of music, void of
surprises and whimsey… I think not.
We are not meant to stop time. Time is not the enemy. Misguided thoughts are the only foe, believing youth is not slippery, like some
squirming fish, plucked from the water.
Its glare fixed upon us, asking - what have we done?
Why should we try so hard to focus, and not simply accept the blur. That is where all the action lives.

Life is a series of moments, and I am so glad for those brief glimpses back into what used to be.
