Resuscitate me

 

Never do I care to see

a toe tag hanging off of me,

lying prone

upon some slab,

wishing not to be cadaved.

Should you find me

laying still -

take my pulse

don’t read my will.

I never wish
to be, The Late,
don't take your time
resuscitate.
