You can’t stop the ageing process but time, on the other
hand, can travel in both directions. In physics,
especially in theories like relativity, time isn’t strictly linear. Einstein
showed that time can stretch and compress depending on speed and gravity. And
in quantum mechanics, some equations work the same
whether time moves forward or backward.
In our minds, time can feel nonlinear too. Memories pull us back;
imagination pushes us forward. Regret and nostalgia are forms of mental time
travel. So, while our bodies age irreversibly, our minds dance across the
timeline.
But you might as well be reading this to a penguin.
