There is a distinct difference between the edge of the woods and the edge of the forest.
From here I can clearly see the edge of the woods. It seems to be where the tree line and ground
shrubs begin. Up to that point it is clear.
The edge of the forest, however, appears as a dark entrance into
an unknown, filled with danger, where teeth and claws await your arrival. Wild things grow in the woods, but things grow
wild in the forest. It is no place for a
fertile imagination.
