We have a shared concern, the person
who made this mug and me. Once filled
with hot coffee, for whatever reason, I always hope the weight doesn’t cause
the handle to snap off.
As you can see, they have built into it a small support structure, a dab
of extra clay right at the connection.
It also serves as a handy place to rest your thumb.
