Rule #1

 There came to me

an inspiration -

two Saturdays ago,

Crazed with hungry

desperation -

and nowhere else to go,

I took him in

and fed him well

two Saturdays ago

and wasn't till

this Tuesday past

that he was fit to show,

I bathed and combed 

and spruced him up -

and took away his frown,

but lost this silly

inspiration 

cuz I didn't write it down.
