What I thought was a photograph turned out to be a painting.  It was expertly framed and hung on a prominent wall.  So well done was this art, that I stopped and stood directly in front of it, just to enjoy its high level of quality and beauty.  I must admit, however, that it was the subject matter that drew me in.
