It was to no one’s advantage that we were there, in fact we
shouldn’t have been. I’m guessing people
don’t really believe in a spirit world until they are actually surrounded by
them. Trust me; it’s a feeling unlike
any other. I’m not talking a warm and
fuzzy feeling. I’m thinking it would be
like accidently walking into a local grocery store on the non-tourist side of
the island. Without a word you instantly
know you are not wanted, you shouldn’t be there and where’s the closest
exit?
Much of it, I assume, depends upon your state of mind; you
can either let it get to you and scare yourself silly, or you can rationalize
it and keep telling yourself you are simply standing in a cemetery, surrounded
by headstones. The sun is out, there is
a nice summer breeze and all you’re there to do is take a few pictures.
Here’s the thing; when Randy and I returned at the end of
the day and developed our film we saw a lady in one of the shots. She was just standing there.
Neither of us saw her nor felt any spirit world heebie-jeebies. Only after developing the film were we able
to see her standing there.

After seeing this picture - we went back to the cemetery.
