They don't get along.

 

She followed us all day just to make

sure we didn't have Annette with us.

 

 



I would have said no.

Just about 15 minutes ago we were 18 years old.  We set off living our lives, making plans, having adventures.  Occasionally we kept in touch, though not often.  Now I see by his obituary that he is gone.  I wasn't really done being his friend. He never bothered to ask if it was okay for him to leave.



Lie or Scam ?

 

We attended a travel event today sponsored by AAA.

 

They handed out the above flyer and they wrote on it,

 

"FREE Travel Wallet"

 

We questioned if a purchase was required and their response was no, no purchase was necessary.

 

We drove across town to Eddie Bauer and asked for the

 

Free Travel Wallet.

 

The store manager said, "Sorry, but you have to buy

something to get that."

 

Why do people & Companies find it so

hard just to tell the truth?

 

 



It's too late for us, but do it for your children

Somehow the grubby little politicians in small town America discovered that after seniors were having their fixed income gouged at the supermarket they still had loose change in the bottom of their pockets, so of course their tiny brains came up with parking meters.

This is a message to parents who still have small children in school.  Please, get them tested early.  The moment they show any sign of wishing to enter politics, move them to America House.   Give them easy to understand picture books on being human.  Use flash cards to teach them ethics.  Educate them on surviving on a fixed income, then cut their allowance in half and tell them it's for the greater good.

Help stamp out politics in our lifetime.

Heavy Duty Kite String

 

Everyone at the beach yelled at him to let go of the string,

and then just stood there in shock watching him being lifted out over the ocean.



Someone Else

 

Someone else does their hair,

And someone else puts on their make-up.

 

Someone else designs and makes their clothes,

while someone else tells them what to say.

 

Someone else shows them where to stand,

And someone else adjusts their lighting.

 

Someone else directs how they will move,

when to start and when to stop.

 

Then someone else hands them an Oscar and tells them how great and wonderful they are.
